TITLE OF STUDY 

Survey on Transportation Behavior and Perceptions in Santa Clara County

PURPOSE 

The purpose of this study is to gain insight about what Santa Clara County residents think about their daily travel and about different forms of transportation. This survey explores respondents current travel behavior and potential opportunities or barriers to the use of various forms of travel. In particular, this study is interested in thoughts on alternative forms of transportation, which jurisdictions at the local, regional, and state level are interested in increasing the use of for many reasons.

 

PROCEDURES 

As part of this study, you will be asked to complete a survey asking you about how you travel as part of your daily routine activities and what you think about several different forms of transportation. The survey should take approximately 25 minutes.

 

COMPENSATION

There is no compensation for participation.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY 

No personally identifying information about you will be collected. 

 

YOUR RIGHTS 

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. You can refuse to participate in the entire study or any part of the study without any negative effect on your relations with San Jose State University. You also have the right to skip any question you do not wish to answer.
